Seasons Change

 In Tygereye News

Hey everyone! Time has flown by the past couple of months for Tygereye clients, and it’s time we gave you a solid update on what’s new.

I’d like to start by saying a few words for our good friend Joseph Miles III, who passed away on March 16, 2007. Joseph was a shining light for all those who loved him, and his vision and passion for life will not be forgotten. For the past few months, we have been working together to build a campaign for the new Diplomats’ Dipskate team, and Joseph will be smiling on us as we present them to the world. We’ll have more information on Dipskate, |B|Unique and the Freestyle Rolling movement on the site soon. In the meantime, feel free to email me if you’d like more information. Joseph’s dream will live on.

We are gearing up to launch the campaign for Jim Jones’ new Nostic clothing line, which is run by Jim and his mother, Nancy Jones. They made a huge showing at February’s MAGIC show, and the clothes will be in stores nationwide this Fall. Nancy is available for interviews and inquiries regarding the line. Whether you are media or an interested retailer or fashion stylist, please contact us with inquiries.

Those of you have been anticipating the release of Freekey Zekey’s debut album, Book Of Ezekiel, don’t have long to wait now! He’s just wrapped up the recording, and we’ll be setting up listening sessions for you soon. Thanks to everyone who showed love at MAGIC/All-Star Weekend! Check Zeke’s myspace page for some of the many fun interviews he did! You can find Zeke on the covers of last month’s Swagg Newsmagg (Canada) and this month’s Spate Magazine and SWeT Magazine. He’s also got new features in Streets Mos, FEDS, Case Closed, and Italy’s Groove Magazine, as well as mentions in last month’s Vibe Magazine and Giant Magazine. Check his page for recent online interviews with HHNLive.com, RapReviews.com, XXLMag.com, Tastemaker.biz, ThaFormula.com and more!

We’ve been getting some great feedback on the new tracks from Tangled Thoughts’ upcoming album Kurupt Presents Tangled Thoughts: Philly 2 Cali. The group is available for interviews as they prepare for the May 22 release date (Good Hands Records), and we’ll be following up with you regarding the album promos. If you have not received your copy of the album for review, please let us know.

Thanks to our media friends who have taken the time to listen to B.O.B. – now you’re fans like the rest of us! Check B.O.B.’s Show & Prove interview out in the May issue of XXL (Young Buck cover), in Australia’s Rhyme & Reason Magazine, and in Canada’s Thick Magazine. Check his page for his AllHipHop.com Breeding Ground feature and his recent interview with HHNLive.com as well.

Grits are mid-stream in their country-wide tour promoting the Redemption album. The reviews have all been fantastic, and there’s a lot more good music coming! Check their page for some online review links, and take a listen to the tracks they’ve made available!

And now, a few thank you’s to round out the news… Shouts to Line’, Zenobia, Troy Hudson (aka T-Hud) of the Minnesota Timberwolves and his Nuttyboy Entertainment family for a great time in Minnesota last week! Thanks to TVT’s Corporate Ken and Sean Bouldin, The A’z and Sean Kennedy for making the Core DJ’s Retreat in Miami so much cool and interesting! Thanks to Tresa Sanders and her Tremedia team, Stack$, Mike Clarke of Swisha House and everyone who made the SoBe/Stack$ press junket a wild time! Thank you to Jasmijn, Yaniv, Rob and the rest of the Miskeen Originals team for everything out at MAGIC in Vegas. Thanks to my AllHipHop.com family and all of my great friends for standing by me through trying times.

For what it’s worth, take a few minutes today to give someone else some inspiration – a few words of encouragement, a compliment, a smile… it goes farther than you think.

Much love, until next time

Dove
