Game Rebellion at SXSW This Week! Urb Next 100, Digiwaxx and Stay Indie Performances, March 18-19!
Game Rebellion is on the road to SXSW Music Conference in Austin, Texas this week, and will performing three live shows! The first is Urb Magazine’s “South by South Next” Next 100 Showcase on Thursday, March 18 at Light Bar (408 Congress Ave) beginning at 4:00pm.
Other artists slated to appear in the Urb showcase on the 18th include Donnis (who performed at Game Rebellion‘s Sounds Like a Riot EP Release party in January), XXL ’10 Freshmen Pill and Freddie Gibbs, Timbaland affiliate Izza Kizza, Cipha Sounds affiliate Kid Daytona, Tanya Morgan members Von Pea and Donwill rocking solo sets, visionary producer 88 Keys, Minnesota songstress Nikki Jean and critically acclaimed multi-talent Outasight. On the late night tip March 18, Game Rebellion will be up the street at Shiner’s Saloon (422 Congress Ave @ 5th) for the “Stay Indie” party. Friday, March 19, Game Rebellion will join Digiwaxx Media for “The Blast Live” showcase at The Ranch (708 W 6th St). Other artists performing on the 19th include Reflection Eternal (Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek), Estelle, Nina B, Pill, Freddie Gibbs and Australian duo The Kin.
