Once known for crudely photo-shopped artwork and do-it-yourself graphics, artwork for independent mixtapes and DVD’s has come a long way. Artist and digital designer Rick Joseph, founder of design company Light-A-Match, is unveiling a new way for graphic artists to be recognized for their talent with MixtapeWall.com.

MixtapeWall.com is an inspirational online gallery devoted to showcasing mixtape, street album and DVD covers. Visitors will be able to enjoy and rate the wide array artistic style from another perspective, and can enjoy the interactive experience of the Mixtape Wall blog. Meanwhile, artists can send in their work via the user-friendly submission form on the site.

“My goal with Mixtape Wall was to create an online hub to showcase artwork from around the world,” explains Rick Joseph. “I wanted to provide exposure for designers and artists that have been overlooked, and allow users to interact and rate the work of their peers.
